President Obama Speaks in Ottawa, Canada Today
OTTAWA – President Barack Obama proceeded cautiously in his first foreign trip Thursday, refraining from asking Canada to rethink its plans to withdraw troops from Afghanistan and saying changes to the North American Free Trade Agreement can wait. In a news conference with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Obama acknowledged that he has said NAFTA does too little to protect U.S. workers and the environment.
Canada, the United State's largest trading partner, is leery of changes to the deal.

Video: Young Jeezy responds to Bill O' Reily's comments
Young Jeezy Defends 'My President' Against Bill O Reily
Dennis Miller, you may be a comedian, but really, who are you kidding? You know full well his name not "Emphysema" or "Lil' Jeezy" — it's Young Jeezy and he's an artist that's been covered by MTV, CNN and plenty of other news outlets. If you pay attention to pop culture, you'd have heard his name plenty of times.
Miller was a guest on "The O'Reilly Factor" on Wednesday (January 21), and mocked the Snowman and Jay-Z. Bill O'Reilly, host of the show and noted hip-hop hater, also called Jeezy and Jay-Z's performance of "My President" at Club Love in Washington, D.C., "a rant that offended people." Guess O'Reilly didn't hear the audience, who screamed in approval afterward.
We already know how both Jay-Z and Jeezy feel about O'Reilly — we've heard it in their music. On Monday (January 19), before performing "My President" at the Warner Theater, Jeezy talked to MTV News about the importance of the record and what he was trying to express.
"Music is how you feel," Jeezy said about being inspired to write "My President." "But if I can say one word, I'll say 'necessary.' I felt it was necessary. I never ever paid attention to any election. Not really [into] politics or anything like that. It never benefited us. This time around, it's not a black-or-white thing — you got somebody in there for us that's well-spoken and gonna handle their business. I just wanted to do my part and let them know we need change, we need help, it's rough out there."
Jeezy said that he plans on releasing the remix for "My President," and that Jay-Z's was just the first verse of the remix we heard.
"The song was powerful already with Nas — now Jay is on there, we got a few more people on the remix. It's not even the song [that's important], it's the message. You still get bits and pieces out of there. You get your 'president is black, Lambo is blue,' but it's bits and pieces in there. You gotta listen. I ain't talking fast, y'all just listening slow."
for the rest of the story go to MTV.com. Fuck linkin' y'all.

President Elect Barack Obama seeks counsel from the White "Wise Old Men"
WASHINGTON – President-elect Barack Obama hailed a rare Oval Office gathering of all U.S. presidents as an extraordinary event on Wednesday as the current occupant, President George W. Bush, reminded his predecessors and successor that the office "transcends the individual."
"I just want to thank the president for hosting us," the president-elect said, flanked by former President George H.W. Bush on one side and his son on the other.
Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, both smiling broadly, stood with them.
"All the gentlemen here understand both the pressures and possibilities of this office," Obama said. "For me to have the opportunity to get advice, good counsel and fellowship with these individuals is extraordinary."
In a swift photo opportunity, the current president wished Obama well before all five men headed to a private lunch.
"I want to thank the president-elect for joining the ex-presidents for lunch," Bush said, even though he's not quite a member of that club yet.
"One message that I have and I think we all share is that we want you to succeed. Whether we're Democrat or Republican we care deeply about this country," Bush said. "All of us who have served in this office understand that the office itself transcends the individual."
If this isn't a clear indication of "Bi-Partisnship" than I don't know what is.

Video: Bush: 'I'm not insulted' by thrown shoes
Bush: Im not insulted by thrown shoes
By David Edwards
President Bush told ABCs Martha Raddatz that he wasnt by a Iraqi journalist who hurled shoes at him.
I thought it was interesting, I thought it was unusual to have a guy throw his show at you. But Im not insulted. I dont hold it against the government. I dont think the Iraqi press corps as a whole is terrible. And so, the guy wanted to get on TV and he did. I dont know what his beef is. But whatever it is Im sure somebody will hear it.
ABC News has the entire transcript here.
This video is from ABCs World News, broadcast Dec. 14, 2008.
The fact "Dubya" finds this whole thing is amusing is in itself, AMUSING.

Video: Presedential Elect Barack Obama's first press conference POST-ELECTION Novermber 7, 2008
Pres-Elect Barack Obama held his first press conference today, post election.
A number of topics were discussed, the one that really means shit to the average Joe like you and I is we're getting another Stimulus CHECK.
and fast, it might even be pre-inaguration under Bush's presidency still.
Just watch all the videos, it was pretty informative and even got a bit comical when the "Urgency" of what dog he and Michelle will pick out for their two daughters was the topic.

Video: Election Night in Halrem - Jay Smooth
So much to talk about right?
It's been a very emotional week for me, but none the less there is exceptional shit occuring around the globe as I type.
Let's jump right back in the swing of things with my dude Jay Smooth whom captured the essence of what was "the 92503 National Experience" via camcorder in Harlem upon Presidential-Elect Barack Obama's victory.
