According to various sources, Oakland rapper Keak Da Sneak was arrested late last week on July 10 in Sacramento and charged with resisting arrest and carrying a firearm.

Due to the fact that he had an outstanding warrant, Keak Da Sneak will have to remain in jail until bail is posted.

On July 14, Keak faced a magistrate judge regarding the charges he was given.

Considered a Hyphy pioneer to many in the Bay area, Keak Da Sneak has released several albums since his solo debut Sneakacydal was released in 1999 and last appeared on E-40's 2006 hit "Tell Me When To Go." He was also a member of group 3xKrazy, which released albums on Virgin Records in the late '90s.
